What was I thinking. . .
My sweet sister-in-law, Katie, wrote on her blog that she was going to challenge herself to walk 280 miles before her vacation at the end of May. She chose 280 miles because that's how far the destination is from her house. So in my excitement for her, I wrote her and told her that I would "walk" with her. I should have done the math before I said I would walk with her. I have to walk 3 MILES EVERY DAY FOR THE NEXT 90 DAYS!!! YIKES, what was I thinking! I bought a pedometer 2 days after I committed to this journey. I am excited to say I have walked over 7 miles since last Thursday. I'm going to update my count in the top right corner of my blog. Stay posted for updates. I wish I lived closer so that I could walk with Katie and not just long distance.

You are doing better than me. I'm only at 5.75 miles. The weather is messing me up. I guess some days I'm going to need to walk 4 or 5 miles to make up for the days I've missed. I'm so glad you are doing this with me. But it would be so much better if we could actually walk together. Looks like I will need to get a pedometer too. Keep up the good work!
