Countdown to Christmas
Christmas is 100 days away and I have the perfect place to start my Christmas shopping on November 2nd. I'll be shopping at Angels After Dark. Who's going to join me?

Aloha!
Hubby and I had an amazing summer trip to Oahu, Hawaii to celebrate our 13th wedding anniversary. We were flying from Houston directly to Hawaii. I was all excited leaving Tampa, but as soon as I took my first step onto the plane in Houston it was a different story! I started panicking and getting sick to my stomach. Then the pilot came over the intercom and told us there was a problem with the baggage door and we would be sitting for 30 minutes to 60 minutes. I was starting to sweat at this point. I quickly turned to Mike and said we need to PRAY and PRAY fast and NOW! He did and shortly after (OK, well maybe after several hours of flying) I started to calm down. Drank lots of ginger ale and prayed. I don't think I have every prayed so hard in a short amount of time. God is good all the time and all the time God is good--even when flying 30,000 miles high in the sky!
After traveling half way across the globe, we arrived in Hawaii and could hardly wait to lay our eyes on Disney's Hawaiian Resort, Aulani. It was beautiful and every bit of what every picture we had seen before arriving.
Hubby's highlight of Hawaii was Pearl Harbor and a little town called Haleiwa near North Shore. My highlight--or should I say survival was hiking up to the top of Diamond Head, an inactive volcano.
However, one of the most memorable things about Hawaii is meeting family of a dear friend. We got to meet her niece, mom and step dad. Spending time with our new "Ohana was priceless.
These dear friends who gave us a local tour of the entire island of Oahu. We spent an entire day hopping out of the car and taking pictures. We stopped at local eateries and scenic stops. Thanks Lipoa for sharing your Mom and Bob with us for the day! We had an amazing day and will treasure the memories for an eternity.
The sunsets is the one thing that hubby and I could not get over. They are stunning and amazing to watch. And NO, these pictures were not photoshopped! AMAZING!
Mike is already trying to figure out when we can go back to Hawaii. (I'm ready too!)
