Ketchup!

Today is Ketchup day! I have been sooooo busy and haven't had time to blog. I'm home alone this morning b/c Mike decided to go to the movies this morning with his Dad and PB (our friend, Pastor Busby). It is definately a guy movie, Star Trek. BEAM ME TO THE ENTERPRISE! I'm glad they were able to go and have a good time, so I'm preparing food for our cookout tonight at Mike's Grandma's and doing laundry while they are gone. So I thought I would take a few minutes to "ketchup" about the past several weeks. This is going to be a LONG blog to--sorry! I try to make is short and sweet!
Our vacation:
Friday: Our 10th year Anniversary dinner at Portifino's with my family. We had a great time and surprised my parents by getting up there mid-afternoon instead of late evening.

Saturday: Family Cookout--oops, forgot to take pictures!
Sunday: Church, Lunch at Guadalajara--the best mexican in the USA, Kate and Andrew teaching me all I need to know for my new hobby, crochet, and Celebrate my parents 35th Wedding Anniversary!

Monday: Went swimming at my Grandma's pool. What a splash!

Tuesday: The guys went golfing and the ladies went shopping Downtown. We ate at the Brick Street Cafe, what a wonderful lunch! Tuesday night we went out for dinner to Adam's Bistro, where everything is good!

Wednesday: Mike and I traveled to Winston-Salem, NC to visit with Mike's best friend from hight school, Cade and his family. We had a great time eventhough it rained all day! We had some outside plans, but we ended up painting a Christmas ornament at a do-it-yourself pottery place.

Thursday: We traveled to Gaffney, SC to go to the Rifle Range and had a great time shooting up paper. :-) The girls left early and headed to the outlet mall. We meet Andrew and Katie for dinner too at a nice little italian place. They had the best chocolate chip pizza for dessert, too!!!

Friday: We had a relaxing day around the house. I did visit the Miracle Hill Thrift Store and found a DEAL! A brand new large mirror with a gold frame. (Pictures soon.) For dinner we went to Roebuck, SC to the FishCamp and enjoyed some seafood! We went with the Malone's, my 2nd parents.

Saturday: We ate at Taco Casa, the best fast food mexican you can find--and the cheapest! They have some of the best sweet tea, too. We meet some friends of mine. Ashley and I have been friends since before we were born--you know a friendship where your parents know each other even before you were born. We had lunch with Ashley and Jeff and their 2 children, Ashley's dad, Ashley's sister and nephew, my parents we also there. For the evening, we toured Downtown Greenville: the Falls, Michelin Store, Smoke on the Water, and even took our picture with the Shoeless Joe Jackson statue. We missed the Greenville Drive game, but drove past the stadium. It was a great ending to a wonderful trip to South Carolina. Can't wait to go back!
